    Assam best known as one of the most famous tea districts in the world bestows its richness upon the world. The region is best known for the export of black tea from the Assamica variety of the Camellia Sinensis plant. Full bodied, rich + bold flavor in each cup. The state of Assam is located in Northeast India and runs along the river Brahmaputra- a river older than the Himalayas. Assam has a tropical monsoon, rainforest climate with hearty soil responsible for not only it's black tea but a variety of orchids + rare animal species.
